Sta. Cruz Island. #theplacetobe
It's about 15 minutes boat ride from Paseo Del Mar. #ZamboangaCity
It's nice to know that the Tourism Office of Zamboanga City made initiatives for more than a year now to promote Sta. Cruz Island. Tourists must see for themselves and experience the wonders of this island with its "pink sand." #worthyourtime
How to get there: Go to Paseo del Mar
You will easily find the "reservation area", between the convention and Kape Zambo.
Call time: 7:00 to 8:00am
You may decide what time you want to go back to Paseo del Mar.
Probably around 1-3pm. The personnel are but just approachable and friendly.
Costing:
Boat Ride: 1,000 pesos (1-10 pax) / roundtrip
Cottage: 100 pesos to 500 pesos *I'm not so sure, but I think we paid 100 for our table :)
Entrance: 10 - 20 pesos *I'm not so sure either :)
We are sponsored by a chinese man, "Birthday Boy"
Food: There are natives there who sell foods and souvenirs, too! But you have the option to bring your own food. *We brought Jollibee for breakfast and lunch.. thanks to China man :D
When you get there, you may want
...to just relax and see Zamboanga City on the other side;
...to play beach volleyball with your friends;
...lie on your back and be tickled by the pink sand;
...plunge in to the water and discover the treasures of the sea.
For Security issues.. definitely "SAFE" ..we were escorted by enlisted personnel and there are also personnel stationed in the island... plus marine biologists and foresters are with you to introduce you to the wonders of the island.
